Vancouver AIDS Memorial – The Memorial is a monument to those lost to AIDS and a tribute to the thousands who were part of their lives. The beautifully landscaped surroundings will be a place for remembrance and quiet reflection. Located at Sunset Beach steps from the seawall, the Memorial will serve as a dramatic reminder for public education and prevention in the province. The AIDS Memorial Society of Vancouver, in consultation with the public and various organizations, has developed a process for including names on the Memorial. The process includes an application form, the provision of supporting documentation, and, if you are able, a donation to help support the construction and educational legacy of the Memorial.
